Went to two food markets today. One in the Place Monge…
Where I bought some very nice apples called Delbards. Other than the apple/pear/cider lady, the options did not look so local. Avocados, for example.
Thus around dinnertime I dragged (drugged?) my poor father to another market in Place Bourse. Here we bought the most expensive peach ever.
I also was instructed how to peel my mushrooms. Advice I happily ignored.
Tomorrow we venture to yet another market, and perhaps the first taste of French oysters.
